12 mars Biking in Camau11th March 2007
This weekend, I was stuck in a relatively boring town. As there was suppose to have a meeting on Saturday on my purpose that I was send to Camau. I was supposed to join a task force to obtain approval for the engineering drawings. But in the end there was no such meeting as the project manager was busy entertaining the project director. Somehow it destroyed my plans to travel to Phu Quoc to enjoy the white sandy beaches.
 The owner of the hotel that I am staying at was kind enough to lend me his bike. I ride around Camau town. Hey for the first time, I ride on a motorbike without a helmet on. It is really an experience to ride in Vietnam. There is no traffic rules and as I approach the town area. Things get a little complicated and initially I was quite shock but got accustomed to it pretty quickly. Wow wee zipped around town for the whole morning. It was a really wonderful way to experience the other face of Vietnam. I have proven myself to be a complement rider here. The owner left the bike key at the reception for me. I am still suffering for a mild
 sun burn on my arms. |
