23 février Austin HillHad a day of golf with my colleagues and friends at the Austin Hill Country Club in Johor Bahru. The damage caused by the earlier floods can be clearly seen throughout the course. The two 18 holes course had been reduced to 27 holes. And driving on a buggy from one hole to the next can be rather challenging. The green are also not in a good condition. But I enjoy my game anyhow.
The  hot weather must have gotten into me and I didn’t finish the last hole. Guess it was due to the over indulgent on the Xbox game playing.  Red alert from Mr PiggyFirst of all, I will like to wish all a happy lunar new year!
 This long holidays had been rather boring, there was no need for me to go visiting or to do anything much. I had a good rest but still feel so very tired
 . And spend the rest of the time unwisely playing game on my Xbox. Still on the same quest, after 4 tries  . Guess I should give myself a break and come back to game a little later. Didn’t manage to make any progress on the continuous assignment that I had set myself to do. In conclusion, my past week is quite fruitless  . Had a little incident while coming home from work on my bike. As there was some raining in the evening, thus the floor of my multi storey car park was wet. As I was making a right turn in the car park, my bike skidded. This time everything happened too fast for me to react and jump off the bike. My right leg got a little squashed by my bike and left feet area hit on the gear lever. Ouch…
 And I just discover another one on my arm this morning. Hope my bruises go away quickly. This morning, I put myself and dad’s “golden amour” in a dangerous circumstance while driving to work. I failed to notice a red traffic light and stop the car really late. Luckily there was no car and the traffic lights changed pretty quickly.
 Think the Pig deity is trying to remind me to be careful on the road. Better take note. Hope I will be able to enjoy a blissful remaining of Chinese New Year. 17 février Overseas postingMy project manager requested for me to be posted to Camau site for 3 months. Main function was to perform the role of a coordinator and address engineering issue at site. Personally I think it is a really good chance for me to pick up some site experience and gain more confidence with coordination job. I really love to take up this challenge and widen my horizon. BUT I turn him down as I am in the middle of the semester and the exams are due in 2 months time. Know that I might never get another chance. Really hope no regrets on this decision.
YES, NO REGRETS! 11 février Fragility n complexityThe past week, I receive several shocking news from some friends. They are of broken relationships and lose of personal wealth. I was dismay, disappointed and loss for words when I get to know them. Somehow this episode of events had set me thinking about the fragility of relationships and the complexity of maintaining a one. Personally, I notice that am quite capable of disregarding my feelings nowadays. I frighten myself of my ability of having no feelings with things taking place around me. Think it’s not right as I really wish to be able to feel and live for the moment. Or maybe it part of getting old and wiser. My friends out there who might be feeling a little blue and dishearten Wishing all an advance Happy Valentine and Friendship Day! |
